Amazon Bluetooth Keyboard for Kindle Fire HD a Good Buy

If you own a Kindle Fire HD and use it for basic email and taking notes as well as its other functions and find the on-screen keyboard just a little too cumbersome for your tastes, then this may be a good buy for you.

AmazonBasics Bluetooth Keyboard for Android Devices - Black

Productivity

When I’m away from my home office I always take my Kindle Fire HD with me just in case I have to dash off a quick email or write a fast article. As a speed typist, a physical keyboard is always a better fit in this regard. All I have to do after the one-time initial pairing is to click CONNECT on this keyboard and it’s ready to go!

Size

At 10.4" x 4.6" x 0.7", it’s very portable and fits easily into the bag that I carry with my work material. It truly does make my Kindle Fire HD seem even more useful and productive than it already is. The keys also have a nice tactile touch.

Compatibility

The keyboard is Android 3.0+ compatible which means that you can also use it with your smartphone and some other Android tablets.

Power

A power indicator light gives you a warning when the battery is running low.

Price

At roughly $26, I found this to be a monumental steal and a necessary part of my work-travel routine.

Glass Straws

I'm a straw person, especially when dining out. I just don't like the feel of my lips touching the rim of a glass, and in the case of restaurants, they don't always clean the rims well enough, especially when they have been used by someone who was wearing lipstick when she used the glass. Into this void comes the concept of glass straws.

I didn't even know that such a thing existed! I tend to shy away from all things plastic when eating or drinking, but it goes without saying that one really doesn't have much of a choice when it comes down to the area of straws. Imagine my surprise when I came across the Glass Dharma Bent Handmade Glass Drinking Straws.

These straws are beautiful in their design and made of sturdy glass. They are easy to clean, and water and/or beverages just taste ultra clean when you use them. I especially like to use them when I drink my infused waters.

They come in a variety of sizes: wide (for smoothies), thin (for hot/cold beverages), and thinner (for juices). There's a diameter for every preference and every viscosity. They also come in a variety of lengths.

These straws show a wonderful commitment to the green movement as they are reusable for as long as you take care of them.

If you're a straw person too, I suggest that you check these out. I think that you will be impressed. In addition to the many that I have purchased for myself, I'll be buying more of these to give as gifts.

I Love My iPod touch - Part 2

I've written previously of my love for the iPod touch. It's a wonderful device -- the iPhone without the phone. My first one, a third generation, was stolen and I felt its loss for a long time after, until I was finally able to purchase another.

I use this device for everything: researching, listening to music, reading, surfing the Web, and participating on my social media platforms. I even have downloaded apps on it from time to time that enable me to use it as a phone!

It feels good in the hand, has an excellent design build, and the new fifth-generation models have surpassed my expectations. I particularly like how they are designed so that the back logo is seen through a cutout of the latest generation of cases.

As with all of my devices, I case mine in pink:

Take a look at them and see what you think. If you've always wanted an iPhone but didn't want the expense associated with it being tied to a phone carrier this just may be the perfect device for you.

Glass Water Bottle for Infused Water

I love infused water and have been creating and sharing different recipes for months now on my personal Facebook page. Infused water is both delicious and nutritious, and it's had such a healthy effect on me that I've been able to wean myself off of sodas and sugary drinks.

Part of the experience of drinking my infused water is the presentation. To that end, I've been using the AdNArt Flavour It Glass Water Bottle for a good while now. I love this bottle!

The advantage of using an infuser water bottle is that you're easily able to remove the fruit from the water after you've infused all of the nutrients and flavor from it. It's simply a matter of taking off the top, unscrewing the infuser cylinder, and removing the cylinder from the top. No muss, no fuss. And the water tastes really, for lack of a better word, 'clean' when you drink it from this bottle.

I chose the red/silver combination, and it's beautiful in color. You have to see it to believe it. The bottle is made of sturdy glass and holds 20 ounces of water. The infuser is functional and very easy to clean.

I love this water bottle so much that I've gifted a few to family and friends, and I plan to purchase a few more of the color combinations in the future for my own personal collection.

If you're on a personal mission to wean yourself from unhealthy drinks and to add more water into your daily regimen, I highly suggest buying this bottle as an additional point of motivation. It truly makes drinking infused water a wonderful experience.

High-End Pink Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Phone Case

It's no secret that I love technology, and my favorite phone of the moment is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This phone is a truly awesome device. I have my own personal quirk in that I case all of my mobile devices in pink cases, or with cases with pink predominant in their design. To this end, I'm constantly on the lookout for new cases to add variety to my collection.

One of my latest finds is the Pink MOTOMO Brushed Aluminum Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Protective Case. This case is beautiful, elegant, and durable. It adds a bit of bulk to the phone that makes it feel more 'substantial' in the hand. The brushed aluminum is of high quality. It's very easy to install, and the ports remain easily accessible.

If you want to add a more premium feel to your Galaxy Note 3, I highly recommend this case. Here's a photo of my GN3 with this case and a pink screen protector:

Amazon Fire Phone: Could This Be Your Next Smartphone?

Is the Amazon Fire phone for you? Have you heard? Amazon has just created and released their very first smartphone. Read an article that I wrote about the Fire Phone and get some of the details on this very interesting device.

I love the way that technology is progressing and how the cell phone manufacturers are doing battle with each other to claim the title of ‘big dog’ of the cell phone market. Each generation of phones debuts more exciting features than the previous that allow smartphones to go far beyond the concept of having a computer in your pocket.

Amazon Fire Phone, 32GB (AT&T)

The Fire Phone is amazing. The 3D display and Firefly make it the perfect mobile device, not only for loyal Amazon customers but also for those who are ready for a little innovation far and apart from what is already available on the market. It has a generous 32GB of RAM and the OS is deeply embedded into the wonderfully comprehensive Amazon ecosystem.

Give this phone a look, see what you think, and come back and give us your opinion. The Fire Phone just may be the perfect phone for you!
